Cenicaña donates air quality measurement equipment

During a visit by representatives of the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the University of Cauca the Sugar Cane Research Center, Cenicaña, donated 7 PM10 air quality measurement equipment.

During the day, a space was opened to train teachers in the use and functions of the donated equipment that will be important in the undergraduate and postgraduate training process of this public institution.

Air quality measurement equipment is used to identify the amount of particulate matter less than or equal to 10 micrometers is in the environment.

Juan Carlos Casas Zapata, dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the University of Cauca, thanked the donation and recognized its importance "to carry out laboratory work to measure PM10 particulate material and research with students from the University of Cauca in the measurement of these parameters.

With this donation, Cenicaña seeks to contribute to the training of future professionals in the region in processes that contribute to sustainability from academia and research.
