Required: Professional in Agricultural or Agronomic Engineering

Purpose of the position:

Strengthen the adoption of sustainable practices and technologies in sugarcane cultivation.

Education

  • Agricultural, Agronomic, Agroindustrial Engineering or similar.
  • Preferably specialization in water resource technologies and related fields.

Experience

  • Cultivation, assistance and work with sugar cane growers.

Competences

  • Handling of office tools.
  • Public technical presentations.
  • Information analysis.

Features

  • Ensure increased profitability of sugarcane mills and suppliers through the adoption of sustainable practices and technologies in cultivation.
  • Train growers in the sustainable management of sugarcane crops, as well as sugar mill staff and entities both within the industry and outside it.
  • Monitor and support the execution of each of the projects, ensuring that objectives and goals are met.
  • Respond to requests and requirements from CENICAÑA growers, mills and researchers.
  • Contribute to the structuring, support and execution of: projects, strategies, objectives and goals of the Technical Cooperation and Technology Transfer Service.
  • Knowledge of irrigation systems and water resource management technologies.

  • Work hours: Monday to Friday from 7:00 am – 4:00 pm
