Purpose of the position:
Strengthen the adoption of sustainable practices and technologies in sugarcane cultivation.
Education
- Agricultural, Agronomic, Agroindustrial Engineering or similar.
- Preferably specialization in water resource technologies and related fields.
Experience
- Cultivation, assistance and work with sugar cane growers.
Competences
- Handling of office tools.
- Public technical presentations.
- Information analysis.
Features
- Ensure increased profitability of sugarcane mills and suppliers through the adoption of sustainable practices and technologies in cultivation.
- Train growers in the sustainable management of sugarcane crops, as well as sugar mill staff and entities both within the industry and outside it.
- Monitor and support the execution of each of the projects, ensuring that objectives and goals are met.
- Respond to requests and requirements from CENICAÑA growers, mills and researchers.
- Contribute to the structuring, support and execution of: projects, strategies, objectives and goals of the Technical Cooperation and Technology Transfer Service.
- Knowledge of irrigation systems and water resource management technologies.
General Information
- Work hours: Monday to Friday from 7:00 am – 4:00 pm
