Purpose of the charge
Conduct research in the area of plant nutrition and sugarcane fertilization, identifying priorities and formulating proposals that provide solutions to the technological requirements of the sector, generating, through research, recommendations for fertilizers and amendments, and nutrition management practices. The transfer of results and their adoption by clients constitute one of the important challenges of the position.
Training and experience
Professional in agricultural engineering with a master's degree and a doctorate with an emphasis on: plant nutrition, soil fertility, soil genesis and morphology or similar fields (degrees issued by foreign universities must be validated in Colombia). It is desirable to have studied soil chemistry, soil physics and soil microbiology during the postgraduate course.
It is essential to demonstrate proficiency in the English language.
Minimum five (5) years of certified experience as a researcher and/or research leader in a research area, minimum three (3) years after a master's degree with simultaneous compliance with special conditions.

General Information
- Work hours: Monday to Friday from 7:00 am – 4:00 pm
- Includes transportation en route from Cali or Palmira to the experimental station
- Have a valid driving license (B1), be linked to professional and/or scientific associations
