Purpose of the charge
Develop and execute laboratory analyzes and deliver reliable results to Researchers that contribute to the fulfillment of the objectives set in the research projects of the Phytopathology area within the Variety Research program, aimed at the timely solution of needs that contribute to the sustainability of the sugarcane agroindustrial sector.
Training and experience
Technician or Technologist in biotechnological processes applied to industry or agricultural production.
Minimum one (1) year of certified experience in sample processing, RNA or DNA extraction, molecular testing, solution preparation, handling of laboratory equipment.
Knowledge in:
- Good laboratory practices (sterilization, preparation of solutions, preparation of culture media, handling of laboratory equipment and elements)
- Proper use of personal protection elements
- Basic level office tools
- Basic knowledge in Metrology
- Desirable report writing

General Information
- Work hours: Monday to Friday from 7:00 am – 4:00 pm
- Includes transportation en route from Cali or Palmira to the experimental station.
