Purpose of the charge
Develop technical, operational and research activities related to the in vitro multiplication processes of sugar cane at Cenicaña, and ensure the timely fulfillment of indicators of the objectives set out in the research projects of the area of Plant Pathology within the Varieties program, aimed at solving needs that contribute to the sustainability of the Sugar Cane Agroindustrial Sector.
Training and experience
Professional graduate level in fields of biological sciences, biotechnology or agricultural sciences.
Minimum 6 months of certified experience as a professional in research teams, research assistant, research assistant.
Knowledge in:
- In vitro plant cultivation, bioreactor management desirable
- Operation of laboratory equipment
- Experimental designs
- Statistical analysis, knowledge of R software desirable
- Intermediate Office Tools
- Writing reports and briefs

- Work hours: Monday to Friday from 7:00 am – 4:00 pm
- Includes transportation en route from Cali or Palmira to the experimental station
