The Experimental Station is located in the San Antonio de los Caballeros district (Florida, Valle del Cauca), where the administration and research offices, the library, the greenhouses and the laboratories are located.
The station occupies 62 hectares located at 3 ° 21 ′ north latitude, 76 ° 18 ′ west longitude and 1024 meters above sea level. The mean annual temperature at this site is 23.3 ° C, mean annual rainfall of 1135 mm and relative humidity of 80% (data as of April 2016).
