Climate projection for the Cauca river valley, Aug.2013
Second semester 2013
Normal conditions are present in the tropical Pacific Ocean and are forecast to continue through the third quarter of 2013. The sparse mid-year rainy season (June 15 to August 15) has been drier than usual and is expected to continue like this until its end. For the abundant rainy season of the second semester (October – November), precipitation is expected between normal (80–120%) and high (120–150%), with respect to the multi-year average climatological values for that time.

It is necessary to highlight the notorious degree of divergence and uncertainty that at this time show the forecasts on Boy-Girl conditions made by the dynamic and statistical models of international agencies.
