Rainy weather predominated throughout much of the morning in much of the VRC, indirectly due to Hurricane Melissa. The afternoon forecast calls for mostly cloudy skies with intervals of drizzle and light rain, although some very isolated showers are possible in the foothills of the central mountain range and in the Central and Southern regions. Reduced precipitation and overcast skies are possible during the evening. Forecast for October 28: Reduced precipitation is expected; however, short-lived showers are possible in the Norte 2b, Guachinte, and Sur zones, and light rain in the Risaralda River valley, eastern Norte 2a and Central Oriente, and northern Central Occidente regions.
