Cenicaña congratulates the Valle del Cauca company for its innovative initiative aimed at optimizing agricultural work.
Manuelita was recognized with the Best Software Solution award in the Industry category of the Ingenio Colombia 2015 call, an initiative of the Colombian Federation of the Software Industry and Related Information Technologies, Fedesoft.
The Valle del Cauca company won the award with the project 'Online logistics system in the field' that allows real-time visualization of the work carried out with agricultural machinery, thereby facilitating operational and managerial decision-making.
As part of this project, Manuelita developed improvements to the applications installed on the mill equipment, such as remote configuration assistance, a friendly interface for tablets, bluetooth technology and applications for Smartphone. All of the above, allows greater control of the variables registered for the work compared to the previous version.
The award ceremony was held on November 26 and was attended by the Minister of Information Technologies and Communications, David Luna.
