Goal

To train a group of SENA instructors under the Cenicaña-SENA agreement (CAB) in topics related to plant breeding, biotechnology, and disease diagnosis in sugarcane. Led by researchers from the Cenicaña Varieties program.

  • Increase the skills of SENA teachers in basic topics of sugarcane cultivation management.
  • Unify technical concepts on topics of climate, soils, agricultural mechanization and irrigation management in sugarcane cultivation.
  • Improve knowledge appropriation among entities responsible for training new professionals in the country's agricultural sector.

The impact of sharing our basic crop management technologies with groups of trainers is to promote a multiplication of knowledge and updating in crop management to achieve greater productivity.
