Agroindustry Maturity Indicators 2025-I
The ripened area increased in 2025-1 compared to previous years. In the first quarter of 2025, physiological regulators were applied to 77% of the total harvested area. The use of physiological regulators continues to benefit yield, with a 0.7% increase in marketable yield. In the first quarter of 2025-1, the CC 05-430 variety accounted for 32.1% of the harvested area. In 2025-1, Trinexapac-ethyl was the most widely used physiological regulator, applied to 84.6% of the area.

Technical progress: ABA response as a physiological regulator in sugarcane under conditions of the Cauca River Valley.
At a dose of 64 g/ha, the active ingredient responded favorably to high rainfall, totaling 430.8 mm in 12.6 weeks. ABA at 80 g/ha did not generate a pre-ripening response under high rainfall conditions, totaling 473.4 mm in 15 weeks. ABA at 20 and 40 g/ha, in a single regimen, did not generate a ripening response 8 weeks after application under high rainfall, totaling 320 mm in 15 weeks.
