Drones update meeting

In order to show professionals in the sugarcane agribusiness industry the trends in remotely controlled airplanes (RPAS) or drones and their applications in precision agriculture, last February 23 Cenicaña held the meeting 'Morning update in RPAS in the sugar sector '.

During the meeting they discussed the advantages that drones offer in activities such as cartographic updating, identification and quantification of areas with anomalies (weeds, sandbanks and sites for reseeding) and Colombian regulations on the subject.

In addition to the professional team of the area of ​​Geomatics of Cenicaña, representatives of the Association of Constructors and Operators of RPAS and Allied (Asocorps) participated as speakers.
