Irrigation and Drainage Course: Administrative irrigation control practice - BECAUSE.

The central objective of this day was to promote the efficient use of water resources on window pipe irrigation systems, as part of the Irrigation and Drainage Course for Incauca staff, thus strengthening the technical skills of professionals for optimal water management in sugarcane cultivation. This activity included the participation of the mill's head of water resources, field supervisors, irrigation monitors, and field work quality monitors.

Training in waste management and use of personal protective equipment

In order to continue promoting safer and more sustainable agricultural practices in the region, training continues to be provided in the comprehensive solid waste management, the protocol of triple wash of packaging and the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE)On this occasion, field staff from the Manuelita Sugar Mill and the El Silencio Agrofrayle, El Silencio Brillante, El Silencio, and La Eugenia farms participated. The main objectives were to optimize the management of waste generated on the farms, with the aim of establishing environmental points, ensuring the proper disposal of agrochemical packaging, promoting the rational use of PPE, and facilitating the identification of the appropriate protective equipment for each task.

Irrigation School: Advanced Practice in Window Irrigation

This practical session focused on the window irrigation with flow meter, bringing together stewards and irrigators who are suppliers to the Pichichí Sugar Mill. In this fourth session, the main objective was to apply the theoretical knowledge previously acquired, allowing participants to improve the efficiency of their irrigation systems through the use of measurement tools and advanced field techniques.

Gravity irrigation training: practical session at Hacienda Porvenir

In this theoretical-practical day they met ropes and sprinklers from the northern area of ​​the Manuelita Sugar Mill, with the aim of training in the Quality indicators of window irrigation workThe session included field measurements using volumetric methodology and the RBC flume, allowing participants to apply their knowledge to optimize efficiency and accuracy in water management for sugarcane cultivation.
