Commercial performance of sugar cane harvested in the valleys of the Cauca and Risaralda rivers, 1998

This document lists the production results obtained during 1998 by the sugar industry located in the geographic valleys of the Cauca and Risaralda rivers (Colombia). The information corresponds to the sugar cane harvested, both on its own lands and those under direct management, as well as on lands owned by independent growers, and ground by the Risaralda, Riopaila, Sancarlos, Pichichí, Providencia, Manuelita, Central Tumaco, Mayagüez, Central Castilla, Incauca and La Cabaña sugar mills.

The analysis presents the trends of the main indicators of physical field productivity and commercial sugar recovery, in order to document the level and variability of said productivity during 1998, as a reference point for the analysis of particular situations in the productive units of the sugar business.

The statistical data from which the corresponding analyses were performed are included in the Annexes.
