Commercial performance of sugar cane harvested in 1996

This document presents the production results obtained during 1996 by the sugar industry located in the Cauca River valley. The information corresponds to the cane ground by the Risaralda, Riopaila, Sancarlos, Pichichí, Providencia, Manuelita, Central Tumaco, Mayagüez, Central Castilla, del Cauca and La Cabaña mills; harvested both on their own lands and those managed by the sugar industry.

The analysis presents trends in indicators of physical productivity in the field and commercial sugar recovery, in order to document the level and variability of productivity in 1996.
