This document is prepared for the purpose of relating the production results obtained during 1995 by the sugar industry located in the flat part of the Cauca River valley. The information corresponds to the cane harvested and ground by the eleven sugar mills contributing to CENICAÑA1, coming from both their own lands and those of direct management, as well as from lands of independent growers.
The analysis presents trends in the main indicators of physical field productivity and commercial sugar recovery, in order to document the level and variability of productivity in 1995 as a reference point for the analysis of specific situations in the productive units of the sugar business.
The statistical data from which the corresponding analysis was carried out are included as an annex.
