Based on the forecasting models of specialized international agencies, it can be expected that during the dry season that extends from the beginning of December to the middle of February, the precipitation in the Cauca river valley will reach only 40-60% of the Usual values for the period, while for the first rainy season of the year, which includes the months of April and May, the rains are expected to be close to multi-year average climatological values (80-120%).
