Cenicaña receives the International Sugar Cane Biotechnology Consortium

Between May 31 and June 3, Cenicaña will host the annual meeting of the International Sugarcane Biotechnology Consortium, an organization that brings together experts from thirteen countries and 17 institutions dedicated to research in biotechnology of this plant. . 

Between May 31 and June 3, Cenicaña will host the annual meeting of the International Sugarcane Biotechnology Consortium, an organization that brings together experts from thirteen countries and 17 institutions dedicated to research in biotechnology of this plant. . 

Cenicaña, as a member of the Consortium, will be the organizer of the meeting in which a series of conferences is contemplated by representatives of the member countries and visits to the Experimental Station of the Research Center and to companies in the sector. 

This meeting is held annually, but every two years one of the member countries of the Consortium hosts the event. Researchers from the United States, France, South Africa, Australia, Mauritius, Thailand and Brazil, among others, are expected to attend this occasion.
