Goal

Establish unified criteria for evaluating the quality of stumps and logs during mechanical harvesting, promoting proper field operations to contribute to improving the efficiency and effectiveness of field harvesting.

As part of the CATE Phase II macroproject, a field training session was held to reinforce the importance of measuring the quality of mechanical harvesting. The session was conducted in a hands-on manner at a harvesting site, where the methodology for measuring the aforementioned aspects was explained, and questions about the metrics and their importance for harvesting were clarified.

With the participation of technical staff from the Agronomy area (Quality of work and Technical Control).
