The Cenicaña Experimental Station opened its doors to pre-congress visitors. ISST 2025 with a day that demonstrated, in the field and in the classroom, how applied science and innovation are transforming the sugarcane agroindustry toward sustainability and productivity.
What do we experience during the day?
During the technical tour, attendees visited nine seasons that integrate research, extension, and ready-to-adopt technologies. Some of the key aspects shared with visitors were: digital agriculture, efficient nutrition and fertilization, irrigation and agronomic monitoring, soil management, featured varieties, field technologies, harvesting, manufacturing, and the transfer strategies from the SCTT to accelerate technological adoption with physical, digital and interactive materials.
