Learning objectives.:

Upon completion of this training activities, participants will be able to:

• Determine the parameters required in the water balance for irrigation scheduling.
• Manage the prioritized water balance computerized tool, v.4.0, for the technical programming of irrigation in sugar cane.
• Interpret, verify and adjust the water balance as a tool for programming irrigation.

Facilitator: Maria Claudia Pizarro. Agronomic Engineer from the National University of Colombia, Bogotá headquarters. With more than 10 years of experience in the cultivation of sugar cane. She currently works as a member of the Cenicaña Technology Transfer team, in charge of marketing varieties and water management technologies.
