Fifth inter-institutional workshop on sugar cane for the production of panela in Colombia

During the Event, we will talk about:

• Current situation of the research carried out by AGROSAVIA in the varietal change and health of the cultivation of sugar cane for the production of panela in the departments of Boyacá, Santander, Antioquia and Cauca.
• Current situation of the research carried out by AGROSAVIA in the varietal change and health of the cultivation of sugar cane for the production of panela in the department of Nariño.
• Current situation of the research carried out by the University of Amazon in the varietal change and health of the cultivation of sugar cane for the production of panela in Florencia-Caquetá.
• Proposal for the establishment of PEAs to simultaneously evaluate the production of panela and sugar with varieties of the series 12-13-14 humid zone.
