United for the life and sustainability of the Amaime River

Objective of the event

Optimize the use of water resources by monitoring the main river channel and supporting sugarcane farmers in implementing sustainable practices, thus contributing to water conservation in the region.

Event schedule

• 1. Actions to strengthen water resources at Providencia Sugar Mill. Dissemination of actions implemented at the sugar mill level. Presentation of ongoing projects for the efficient use of water resources. 
• 2. Presentation of the watershed conservation project: generalities, introduction, project objectives, and methodology and tools for gathering information.  
• 3. Planning field visits. Coordination with owners to schedule visits.
