During the event, we will talk about:
SEF V3, Sugarcane as a Technological Tool, developed by Cenicaña and aimed at technical assistants and growers responsible for deciding on crop nutrition, based on soil knowledge and physicochemical analysis. Sugarcane producers (mills and suppliers) will be able to be more precise in their fertilizer formulation decisions by quickly and efficiently calculating the nutritional requirements of each variety to achieve expected production potential, based on their area of influence. This will help achieve economic and environmental sustainability of the crop through the proper and rational use of these inputs.
We'll also discuss organic amendments, which are responsible for correcting and adapting the soil to receive adequate nutrition, and testimonials from pioneers in the use of SEF V3.

Magda Narváez
Researcher in the area of nutrition and fertilization.
She holds a degree in Chemistry from the University of Nariño and a Master's degree in Agricultural Sciences from the National University of Colombia (UNAD), with an emphasis on soils, from the Palmira campus of the National University of Colombia. She has worked at Ingenio La Cabaña for over 15 years, setting up and managing the soil analysis laboratory, conducting agronomic research, and managing standards such as ISO 4000 in the field, harvesting, and agricultural workshop. Since January of this year, she has been associated with Cenicaña as a researcher in the area of nutrition and fertilization.
Edis Milena Quintero
Technology Transfer Specialist
She holds a Bachelor of Agricultural Engineering from the National University of Colombia, Palmira campus. She also specializes in marketing and sales from the TEC de Monterrey (Mexico). She has over 20 years of experience in agronomic management, such as fertilization and integrated weed management in sugarcane.
