Agroecological zoning and its verification in the field - Training: 11mar2020

Learning objectives:

At the end of the training participants will be able to:

• Knowing how to verify the physical characteristics of the soil (textural family, effective depth and humidity regime) and its location in the Cauca river valley.
• Be clear about the concept of aggregological zoning and its importance, and be able to verify in the field the aggregological zone in its lot.
• Be aware of the importance of site-specific agriculture (AEPS) for the agronomic management of sugarcane cultivation, and be competent to implement it.
