Training in mechanical harvesting quality
The day, aimed at harvesters, supervisors and coordinators of the Pichichí Sugar Mill, focused on the harvest quality and proper calibration of the harvester systems.
The main objective was for participants to understand the technical and operational factors that influence the quality of the harvested sugarcane. Emphasis was placed on how correct calibration is crucial for preserve sucrose from the field to the factory, thus ensuring the delivery of high-quality raw materials.
This action reinforces the commitment to optimizing harvesting processes for greater efficiency and productivity in the sugar agroindustry.

Training in foreign matter evaluation
The main objective of the day was to socialize the standardized methodology to separate and classify the components of foreign matter and train operators in the classification of these components.
Two training sessions were held for coordinators and analysts from the sugarcane quality laboratory at the Manuelita and Providencia sugar mills. These sessions aim to strengthen the capabilities of operational staff and ensure that the raw material arriving at the factory meets the quality standards established for the agroindustry.
To optimize learning, we used CoMaEx (Foreign Matter Components) recreational and educational tool, developed by Cenicaña.
Number of attendees: 16 | Location: Providencia Sugar Mill – Manuelita Sugar Mill
