SEF version 3.0 training for Manuelita growers and Mayagüez
The training sessions aimed to encourage the adoption of the SEF version 3.0 tool, standardize technical concepts on nutrition and fertilization, and promote the correct and rational use of fertilizers. The sessions were geared towards small-scale farmers, field staff, area managers, and supervisors from both sugar mills.
The impact of the activities lies in facilitating the expeditious and accurate interpretation of soil analyses, optimizing fertilization decisions (based on productive potential and extraction by variety) to encourage the correct and rational use of fertilizers.
The sef facilitates the accurate interpretation of soil analyses, generating reliable data in minimal time and optimizing fertilization decisions by considering critical variables such as productive potential and nutrient extraction by variety.
